A weekend with supermodels
My daughter April is turning eight, and how does an eight year old like to celebrate her upcoming birthday? By being a supermodel and having all her best friends be supermodels too of course! This year April’s actual birthday falls on ‘good Friday’, so we decided to celebrate early!
April had the most wonderful day with her friends. I mean there was cake involved, how could anyone not have a good day when there is cake?! Add party food, games, friends, nail polish, glitter, make up, a fashion parade, music and presents, lots of presents, it all adds up to a fabulous time for an (almost) eight year old!
April has always been a shy girl. She is quirky and sweet. It took her almost a whole year at kindergarten to feel confident enough to play with other children. So to see her strutting her stuff, laughing and having the time of her life with a great group of friends was just gorgeous. She has come so far from that shy little five year old, into a confident, fun girl.
Here is a photo of her getting her make-up done in colour and in Black & White
