Our family weekend time #pointshoot
The weather has been getting cooler lately, we have had some rain after a long, dry Summertime. Finally the fields that surround our home are turning green. As much as the earth has been craving wet weather, it was so lovely to see the sun shining this weekend.
We had a busy Saturday with a morning of Australian Rules Football for my five year old, where he got to meet a real life star player, not that he was too interested, he just wanted to run around trying to kick goals.
This was followed by a visit from my brother in law who has just come back from a work trip and some sight seeing in South Africa, he had lots of gifts to offload.
April then had a friend come over and I took them off to a gymnastics party. Her friend then spent the night, something April isn’t ready to do at anyone’s house but her own yet.
Sunday morning we went of to a lovely service where we paid tribute to the Inspirational women in our lives. My hubby (@photoglanville) surprised me as a guest speaker and spoke about Dorothea Lange and her inspirational photography through the great depression and of migrants. Here are a few of her images.
Sunday afternoon as the sun started its decent we enjoyed a family walk over the newly green fields with our two dogs Stan and Holly-Rose. Here are some images captured on our walk.
